Vision Advantage
Vision Advantage is a comprehensive Vision Plan that has been developed by The Edmonds Group.
The plan, which is sold on a commission basis by a network of Brokers, is particularly attractive to the employer with a voluntary flex benefit package. It may also be part of a 125-tax advantage program. The Edmonds Group manages provider driven networks in twenty-five states and has strategic relationships in many other states. These national relationships allow the Vision Advantage program to be sold to employers with multi-state operations.
REDS Administration provides administrative services including broker relations, enrollment, claims processing, customer service and data management. The unique aspect of REDS Administration is the use of the Relative Value Unit (RVU) system that is common to Medical/Surgical programs. The RVUs are adjusted by the provider network to create Adjusted Relative Value Units (ARVUs). This program allows providers to manage the risk of capitated programs on a "real time" basis rather than dealing with "withholds" and other programs that delay payment to the provider until the end of the contract period.
